A mutt, born in Wisconsin, raised in Virginia and Atlanta, educated in and a long-time resident of Boston and Cambridge, Scott’s love of Craft Beverages started early through his many moves and travels both domestically and internationally. Living in many places and traveling extensively exposed Scott to the unique passion brought by local beverage producers across the world.
Scott started his career in Finance at GE in Louisville, KY where he learned equal parts bourbon and horse racing as balance sheets and financial models. Looking to switch career paths to something he was more passionate about, Scott returned to Boston to get his MBA and honed in on the local Craft Beer Industry. After working for several local breweries in many fields on the supply side of the business, Scott saw an opportunity for a new approach to retail, one that focused on Craft Beer, Craft Spirits and interesting wines in a unique but approachable store format. The idea for Reveler was born and he is excited to welcome you into the shop!
From restaurant, to distribution, to representing luxury California wines, Kim has worked all facets of the wine industry and has an unwavering passion for quality and small producers. She brings this passion to Reveler Beverage Company with the intent to help find the right wine based on what the customer is looking for. This, coupled with outstanding customer service, is her ideal recipe for a distinctive wine buying experience.
A native Houstonian, Kim developed a passion for wine while pursuing the pre-medical program at the University of St. Thomas. She has spent 15 years in the restaurant industry, and, in 2003, became the Wine Director for Brenner’s Steakhouse, the oldest operating steakhouse in Houston. During her service at Brenner’s, she competed at the First Annual Texas Sommelier’s Conference (aka TEXSOM), of which she placed first and was named the “Best Sommelier in Texas” for 2005. A generous scholarship issued by the Court of Master Sommeliers fast-tracked her to sit the Advanced examination and in 2007, she successfully passed with an invitation to sit the prestigious Master Sommelier exam. She is currently working toward her diploma with the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.

Ever since meeting Scott at Boston University, Kate & Scott have fueled each other’s passion and enthusiasm for Craft Beverages (as well as each other’s careers). While their tastes continue to evolve from their undergrad preferences, they enjoy integrating their appreciation for local specialties into their travels - just ask either about their summer of 12 weddings... and 12 breweries! Kate works in advertising in addition to lending a hand at the shop and is looking forward to curating a specialty cheese case to compliment Reveler’s beverage offerings.
